Future Optics‘ z-block is a passive optical subassembly (POSA) based on our free-space-optics wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) platform to deliver optical mux / demux functionality directly inside standard or customized small-form-factor transceivers. Our unique filter based ROSA block and TOSA block are designed to seamlessly integrate with your specific input and output interface.The very high parallelism pitch tolerance of the CWDM4 Z-blocks enable a rapid alignment process during coupling and assembly.

Future Optics' 4 CH CWDM  Mux Demux Z-Block is an optical sub-assembly for transceivers, working at band from 1271 to 1411 nm and matching with 0.5 to 2.0  mm pitch PD or LD, which is integrated inside the transmitting end or receiving end of transceivers to combine or to separate  20nm spacing 4 channels. This device adopts TFF technology and Free-Space technology, inside the device adjacent signal channels are cascaded by parallel beam, thus the reliability is significantly improved, offering high precision of beam parallel.

Future Optics provide all kinds of CWDM Z-BLOCK mux demux devices with various channel center wavelength, beam pitches and angle of incidence for customers to choose.
